About AK Constructions

Since 2004 we have specialised in high-quality construction work for an honest price. We take on a wide range of home and garden work — fences and decking, kitchen and room makeovers, home insulation, garage conversions and full extensions.

We are based in Lochgelly in Fife and work across most of mainland Scotland. We stay in constant communication with our customers until the work is complete.

The work covers extensions and conservatory roof conversions, garage conversions into games rooms, offices or extra living space, garden rooms, decking and patios, kitchen and utility rebuilds, and bespoke media walls with hidden wiring and built-in fireplaces. For bigger jobs we draw the project in 3D first, so you can see the finished room before anything is built, and we take the planning application through the council ourselves.

One team sees a job through from groundworks to handover, so your project is never handed off to a subcontractor you have never met. Quotes are free and come with no obligation: we visit, measure up, and put a price in writing.
