Who we are

AK Constructions, Unit 3b, Cartmore Industrial Estate, Lochgelly, Fife, KY5 8LL. We are responsible for any personal information you send us through this website. For anything about your data, email info@akconstructions.co.uk or call 07495 961808.

The contact form

If you send an enquiry, we receive your name, phone number, the type of job and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to price and carry out the work you ask about, which is the legal basis for handling them: you asked us to get back to you. We do not pass them to anyone else or use them for marketing.

The website itself stores nothing. There is no database, and the form does not keep a copy of your message. It reaches us by email, and these companies handle it on the way:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the form. Its Turnstile check, which loads from Cloudflare’s servers when you open a page with a form, confirms that the sender is a person rather than a bot. It does not use cookies or track you across websites.
• Resend delivers the form to our inbox. It keeps a log of each email it sends, including its contents, for 30 days, then deletes it. Resend is based in the United States.
• Hostinger hosts our email inbox, where your enquiry stays.

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and delete it when you ask us to, unless we have to keep a record of a job we carried out.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the email or phone number above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
